MeowTrail is a free Akari (Light Up) puzzle game. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we handle and how.

Data We Do NOT Collect

MeowTrail does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:

• Personal identification information (name, email, address)
• Financial or payment information
• Authentication credentials
• Location data
• Browsing history
• Health information

Local Storage

All game data is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. This includes:

• Your current puzzle progress and level
• Daily challenge streak and best times
• Game settings (sound preferences)

This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to any server. Clearing your browser data will erase this information.

Chrome Extension

The MeowTrail Chrome extension uses chrome.storage.local to store streak and puzzle stats locally. The extension:

• Does not collect any personal data
• Does not transmit data to external servers
• Does not use remotely hosted code
• Does not track your browsing activity
• Only accesses data on meowtrail.org to sync your puzzle progress

Third-Party Services

MeowTrail is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type) as part of their normal hosting operations. For details, see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

MeowTrail does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. The game is suitable for all ages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
